I learned to dive in 1985 with the UBC Aqua Society. I was instantly hooked, spending all my free time (and money!) to go diving. I started working in the club’s dive store where I met Doreen in 1987. She was a new diver, full of passion for the sport and we hit it off. The rest, as they say, is history!
Our shared love of diving has become a central theme for our holidays and vacations. We have been fortunate enough to visit some fantastic places near and far. Our interests in underwater photography and marine life identification has kept us involved and looking out for interesting places to visit where we may be able to encounter unique marine life. The local diving link will take you to our favorite places near our home in Vancouver, BC. The Tropical Trips will take you around the world on our various trips.
We are fortunate enough to have some very good diving buddies. One of them is our friend Dave who you will see prominently featured in many of our pictures.
